What is optodigital microscopy?

Optodigital microscopy (ODM) is a microscopy technique that combines the advantages of optical microscopy and digital reconstruction to provide high-resolution images of samples.

DOM uses image processing algorithms to analyse the acquired optical images in order to reconstruct an accurate 3D image of the sample. This technique reduces optical aberrations and improves depth of field, enabling samples to be viewed with greater resolution.

MON is used on a wide range of samples, including paint layers, textiles, fibres, powders, unknown products, etc.
